Who we are …

We are a local community focused collection of websites that aims to source all the best news about a particular area and post it online their own local website. We will be collecting news from lots of sources including Facebook, Twitter and websites, there is a dedicated curator for each community and it’s their job to look through all the content collected and decide what is relevant to that community. They then add the news and feed some into the Facebook page for that community and some into their Twitter account for that community. We want to be a source of information for locals or locals abroad or visitors to a community who want to see what’s going on. So from events in the local pub to family fun days we want to know what’s going on in your town.

If you would like more information you can email us anytime hello@allabout.ie.

If you would like us to feed your news (if you are a page on Facebook) into our chatter stream you need to approve us by visiting your local website and clicking the “What’s your news?” link to the top right of the page.

Feel free to share any feedback or advice you may have for us.

We’ll update this post regularly – at the moment we are launched in Midleton (Cork), Douglas (Cork) and Fermoy (Cork).

If you would like us to start an AllAbout in your area be sure and let us know.

We are owned by Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCH) who also own websites like breakingnews.ie and recruitireland.com and newspapers like the Evening Echo in Cork and the Irish Examiner as well as many regional titles. For more info visit www.tch.ie.
